Ingredients


  • 12-16 oz. (340-453g) lean fish like sole, haddock, cod, tilapia, mahi mahi or halibut
  • 2 egg whites or 1/2 cup egg substitute
  • 1/2 cup (63g) Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 1 fresh lemon

Method


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C).
  2. Wash and dry fish filets.
  3. Put egg into bowl and dip fish.
  4. Put crumbs into another bowl and use to coat fish.
  5. Place coated filets on nonstick aluminum foil on a baking sheet (for easier clean up).
  6. Top with thinly sliced lemon.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes (depends on thickness) or until fish flakes.
  8. Serve with fresh lemon.
