  • 1 lb. (16oz) extra-lean ground turkey or ground beef (at least 95% fat-free)
  • 14 oz. (396g) can diced tomatoes
  • 6 oz. (170g) can tomato paste
  • 15 oz. (425g) can pinto or kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1-2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Method


  1. Brown turkey and onions in a large, nonstick skillet.
  2. Add rest of ingredients and 3/4 cup (169ml) water, then simmer.
